]]>

Most cruise travellers know they have a loyalty number. Some even proudly carry Platinum, Diamond or Elite status with their favourite cruise line. But very few realise those loyalty levels can be the key to unlocking thousands in extra perks and savings—even when cruising on a completely different line.

That’s exactly how we saved Mark and his wife an unexpected $1,500 on their upcoming Mediterranean cruise… and how you can too.

⭐ The Secret: Cruise Line “Status Match"

Just like airlines, many cruise lines quietly offer status matching, meaning they will honour the loyalty tier you hold with another brand.

  • Have Royal Caribbean Diamond?
  • Celebrity Elite?
  • NCL Latitudes Platinum?
  • MSC Voyagers Club Gold or above?
  • Azamara Cruises Discoverer?
  • Cunard Platinum?
  • Hapag-Lloyd Platinum?
  • Scenic Diamond?
  • SeaDream Club Member?
  • The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection Elite?

Great news! luxury lines like Silversea, Explora Journeys, Regent Seven Seas, Oceania, Ponant and others may give you equivalent perks, instantly

This is how Mark save an extra $1500 off his Explora journey, based on his status with Silversea and Royal Caribbean.

🚢 What Can a Status Match Get You?

Every cruise line is different, but benefits often include:

💰 Extra discounts (like Mark’s $1,500 saving)

🧺 Free laundry packages

🥂 Invitations to exclusive cocktail events

🎁 Welcome amenities and gifts

🚀 Priority embarkation

🥐 Canapés delivered to your suite

⬆️ Suite upgrades

📦 Onboard credit

🙌 Enhanced service recognition

These perks apply on top of the already competitive fares we secure for our clients.

🔎 Real Example: From Royal Caribbean → Silversea → Explora

One of our clients – Platinum Plus with Royal Caribbean – recently:

Matched his status to Silversea,

Received benefits immediately,

Booked his next sailing with Explora Journeys,

And Explora matched his status too.

That’s triple value for loyalty you’ve already earned!

🌍 Cruise Lines Actively Offering Status Match

  • Silversea
  • Honours Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and several others
  • Explora Journeys
  • Explora Club invites guests to match their existing loyalty level and unlock benefits from their very first journey, including:
  • Journey Experience Credit
  • Exclusive events
  • Pre-journey privileges
  • Onboard services
  • Thoughtful gifts and surprises
  • MSC Yacht Club – Get discounts and privileges on MSC like a boss –  even though you never sailed with them before.

Status match works on a variety of cruise lines – like Explora – Silversea – Oceania – NCL – Regent – MSC – Ponant and many more.

🧭 Why You Should Let Us Handle It For You

Every cruise line has its own rules, forms and quirks. Some accept photos of your loyalty card, others require screenshots, others need PDF forms, others require email verification, and others approve within hours or days.

We handle everything – from the status match request to confirmation, so you enjoy:

  • Maximum perks
  • Maximum savings
  • No hassle

Simply tell us:

  • 👉 Which cruise line you’ve sailed with
  • 👉 Your current loyalty tier
  • 👉 Send us a screenshot of your latest statement

And we’ll match it wherever possible for your next booking.

⭐ Ready for Extra Perks and Hidden Savings?

If you’re planning a cruise, any cruise, send us your loyalty level. You might unlock:

  • extra discounts
  • exclusive events
  • better suites
  • onboard gifts
  • valuable services
  • VIP recognition

Just like Mark did!

Your loyalty deserves more! Let us turn your status into savings and unforgettable cruise experiences.

The post Important Update: EU to Implement New Biometric Entry/Exit System appeared first on FirstClass Travel Specialist.

]]>

Starting 12 October 2025, the European Union (EU) will implement a new Entry/Exit System (EES) at the borders of the Schengen Area. This new system will replace manual passport stamping with a digital record of each traveller’s entry and exit, capturing basic travel information as well as biometric data, including fingerprints and a facial image.

The EES will apply to Australian passport holders and other non-EU/Schengen nationals travelling to or from the Schengen Area for short stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period.

Upon their first arrival, travellers will have their biometric data and passport details collected by border authorities, and this information will be securely stored in the EES database.

For subsequent visits, travellers’ data will already be stored in the system, and only their entry and exit will be recorded digitally. EU citizens, Schengen residents, and those holding long-stay visas or residence permits are not affected by this change. Travellers are advised to allow additional time for border checks, particularly on their first trip after the EES is implemented.

For further details, feel free to reach out to us.
